This programme will include music by composers young and old from the 14th to the 21st centuries. The main work will be Edward Elgar's rarely heard "From the Bavarian Highlands", a delightful set of part-songs in German style with English texts adapted from Bavarian folksongs. Also featured will be winning compositions from our competition for young composers.
