In a first-time cooperative venture with the Viva Youth Choirs of Victoria, the two choirs and a 24-piece orchestra performed the premiere of Nicholas Fairbank's Sea Cantata.   Also on the programme was Beethoven's Choral Fantasy, op. 80, with Jennifer Mitchell (piano), Jared Richardon's Winds of Kananaskis and two American folksongs arranged by Aaron Copland.
